--What is Coverup Girls?
We are a female modeling group based on the idea that every woman is uniquely beautiful, even if she doesn't necessarily have the look of a "conventional model". We want to showcase that and at the same time give every girl her own chance to shine.

--What does CUG stand for?
CUG stands for "Coverup Girls".

--How/Why did Coverup Girls get started?
After being rejected by many other model groups, the creator Cynthia realized that she either wasn't hardcore enough, or too hardcore for other groups. She finally decided.. "Well screw them! I'll start my own group..."

--What does being a Coverup Girl involve?
It involves sending in photosets of yourself at maxmium 2 times a month that will go up on our official website. It involves being part of a female-empowered tightly-knit community of fellow Coverup Girls and being a part of something great.

--I'm interesting in modeling with you, how do I become a CUG?
You'll need to fill out the application in the application section of this website.

--How old do I have to be?
You must be at least 16 to model as a Coverup Girl.

--Is there any certain physical criteria I must meet?
No! We have plus size, regular size, and skinny sized models! There are no height or weight requirements, and no particular style we are looking for either. We are looking to have a very broad range of beautiful women, be it the girl next door, or the weird girl next door!

--Can we include nudity in our sets?
Implied nudity done in a TASTEFUL manner is the only nudity you can send in with your sets. All sets containing implied nudity must be reviewed by Cynthia or Chrissy and they will decide whether or not it is right for the site at their own discretion. (Implied nudity does not include censoring yourself with your hands, tape, digital editing, etc.) Any nudity must be done in a tasteful, classy, or playful manner. You can do provacative sets or lingerie sets but there must not be any private parts showing. Though we have nothing against porn sites, we don't want to be mistaken for one. TheCoverupGirls.com and it's owners retain the right to reject any sets that we deem distasteful or inappropriate for the site.

--Where do all of our photos go?
All of your photos will be viewable here, at www.thecoverupgirls.com

--Who created this website design?
This website was created by badapple-imaging.com. It's a small web-design business run by me (Cynthia) and my fiance', Ernesto.

--I used to be a Coverup Girl, but I withdrew or ignored the group... can I rejoin?
Sure. You'll need to fill out a new application.

--There are so many modeling groups out there, what makes CUG so different from all the rest?
Unlike most model groups, we will have all of your sets fully-viewable on the site. We're not subject to a certain type of style, such as alternative -- we have a diversity of models, and most importantly, we don't require our models to send in any nudity.

--When do the models turn in new sets?
New girls will get a two-week deadline to get her first set in. After that, sets are due at least once a month on the 28th of each month. The only thing we ask is that you not turn in another set if we already have one of you waiting to be put up on the site. In other words, if you have a set in the queue to be live on the website please wait until it is up until you send a new one. Models may send in a maximum of 2 sets a month.

--How many photos should each set contain?
Your photos should never be below the minimum of 10 pictures. Our sets are usually between 10-14 pictures. We would prefer that you send in more than that, and we will pick your best 14.

--I was just accepted and there's a photoset deadline in a couple days, will I still have to meet that deadline?
No, of course not! That would be very unfair. We give all new girls a new deadline. You may however choose to meet the deadline if you wish.

--I filled out an application, will you notify me if I don't get accepted?
That depends. If we feel that we can't use you for the site at the time you apply, we will reply to you and let you know. If we feel that there could be a spot for you in the future, we will keep your application on file and notify you when the time is right.

--Can girls out of Houston, TX be a Coverup Girl?
Most definitely! We want to include girls from all over the states and elsewhere! We are currently seeking girls in the UK, Canada & Japan!

--What kind of models are you looking for?
Regular girls, new models, old models, experienced models, inexperienced models, girls who love to take photos, girls who want to give society a kick in the ass and join our mission.

--Do I need to submit new pictures for my application or can I submit ones I've used elsewhere?
The pictures you send with your application may be pictures that have already been used.

--Can you shoot the photos of me?
If you live anywhere in the Houston area, then yes I can take your photos! Speak with me at cynthia@thecoverupgirls.com for more info.

--My friend wants to model with me, may she?
Only if she is a current Coverup Girl. In the future we may have a theme where you may bring a friend into your photos, but until then...

--I don't have a photographer but I really want to be a CUG!
That's perfectly ok! A lot, if not most, of our girls take self-shots sets. This means a lot of our models take the photos themselves, or even have a friend shoot them! Self-timers are life savers! You may also check with me to see if there are any Official CUG Photographers in your area.

--What if I don't have all the neccessary stuff to do the contest theme at the time?
Talk to me about it and we can make some kind of arrangement. We would never want you to go out and purchase something just for a photoset.

--Can I send in more than 14 pictures?
Definitely! But please note theres a possibilty that all of your photos will not be used, we will choose what we think is your best 14.

--Is it possible to win the set contest more than once?
Yes. If you send in two kick-ass, you may win the title twice.

--You asked me for a set re-do, why is that?
This is because your set did not meet our photoset requirements. Before you turn in your first set, please read the document titled "Photoset Requirements". We will never just reject your set, we will notify you and ask you to re-do it. We want to give you a chance to have as many sets on our website as possible, because more sets for you means more modeling exposure.

--What happens if I miss a set deadline?
New girls (meaning this is your first set to turn in) who miss their first photoset deadline, will be automatically cut from the group.

--I don't think I can make the deadline, is there anything we can arrange?
It's okay to skip certain months if you need to, so long as you don't skip two months in a row. If a model does not turn in a set for two consecutive months, she will be removed from the site & dropped from the group.

--Am I allowed to model for other sites?
Duh! The Coverup Girls do not require our girls to be exclusive, you may model for as many sites as you wish. We want you to get noticed through our website, You can use our website as a reference when you are applying to other sites! Tell them, "come see me at www.thecoverupgirls.com!". However, we ask that you please not send us any photos that have been used for other modeling groups, or other purposes.

--Can I use the photosets I send you in my portfolio or myspace?
If it is a photoset that is currently live on our site, you may use the picture but PLEASE keep our logo on your photos.

--I don't like one of the pictures in my set that is up on the website, can you remove it? What about name changes, can we change that?
No. Once a photoset goes live on the site, we will not alter it unless needed. If there is a photo you don't like in your set, please don't send it in to us. About name changes, no again. To change your name that would be changing everything with your name on it for every page. We just don't have the time for that.

--Can I withdraw from the group at anytime?
Yes. Your info will be taken down from the site, your name off the list of CUG's & your picture off our myspace section -- but any sets or pictures you have turned in while still under our group will remain property of The Coverup Girls and may still remain live on the site and possibly still used for banners & graphics in the future. This also means any banners or graphics you were featured in while in our group will continue to be in use. (we do not sell our sets to any other companies or websites).

--What do I get for modeling?
There is no monetary pay for being a Coverup Girl. At least not until we are making a sufficent amount of profit from the site. There is no way to tell when that may be, so until then we can only promise you your own model page on the site, modeling exposure, and a really fun experience! Think of it as free modeling-portfolio space.

--What are set "no-nos"?
The no-no's are things that should NEVER be allowed in sets, these are: Real blood, self-mutilation, domestic violence, animal cruelty, depictions of rape.. etc. If you're under 18 no pictures with cigarettes & sex items (such as toys or porno mags), under 21 no pictures with alcohol. If you do any of the above, the "no-no" will be edited out, or we will ask for a set re-do.

--Why isn't there any pay?
The Coverup Girls is privately owned and operated and we do not have the resources that larger companies have, we have to fund all our endeavors out of pocket. Seriously.

--Can my photographer receive payment for the photos he/she took?
As much as we would like to compensate photographers, we're not able to. Unfortunately, the owner of the site isn't rich, isn't a heiress, or isn't a drug dealer. But she is passionate. Which is the only reason this site is here; because it's an important endeavor to her and the girls. Not because of money. If your photographer can't agree to shoot your photos on a TFCD basis, then we can't accept them. Sorry.
