CUG
CONNECTION: How did you come up with your model alias?
HARLEY: I'm adopted so it's a nickname from my original birth name.
CUG
CONNECTION: How long have you been in CUG?
HARLEY: About 4 or 5 months
CUG
CONNECTION: What was your main reason for joining The Coverup Girls?
HARLEY: I love to take photographs. And I've always been interested in modeling. I thought it was great that I could be myself and I wasn't being judged based on my weight or height or individuality.
CUG
CONNECTION: How has the experience been for you so far?
HARLEY: It's been absolutely amazing so far. I've met a lot of different people and have made friends through the site. I hope one day to go out there and meet all the lovely ladies. It'd be awesome!!!!!
CUG
CONNECTION: What would you like to see in the future as far as CUG is concerned?
HARLEY: I'd like to see more girls. A diverse group of people, and I'd love to see the site expand to be well known. It'd be amazing if people could see that we're different and that this is a great way to gain self-confidence.
CUG
CONNECTION: Where's your favorite place to do a photo shoot?
HARLEY: I don't really have a favorite place, I like different things and anything that I think will give an amazing photograph.
CUG
CONNECTION: What experience did you have modeling before CUG?
HARLEY: Absolutely none. I was always afraid of modeling because I thought I was too fat to be in front of a camera, but sometimes you just gotta have fun and see where it takes you.
CUG
CONNECTION: What do you have in mind for your upcoming CUG sets?
HARLEY: I have a ton of different ideas, I really wanna do a set somewhere in the city since I live in New York and I have some other cute ideas brewing in my head.
CUG
CONNECTION: Do you have a cool/funny story to tell that happened behind the scenes of one of your photoshoots?
HARLEY: OMG yes. while I was shooting my controversy set. I was laying in the bathtub and my friend was standing above me on the outer part of the tub. She was trying to steady herself and out of nowhere, without her even touching it, the shower curtain rod fell down and hit me in the head. I died laughing for about an hour. I just was like figures that I'm the one to get hit in the head with something during a photoshoot.
CUG
CONNECTION: What inspired you to model?
HARLEY: I wanted to show that beauty doesn't mean you have to be a size 2 jean and a double D in the chest. All girls are beautiful. Inside and out.
CUG
CONNECTION: What do you consider the most irritating thing in the world?
HARLEY: Hmm. Probably celebrities. They have a pretty simple life, they are role models to thousands of people and yet they complain about the dumbest things or think that if they make a mistake we don't have the right to judge them. Just because you're "famous" doesn't mean you're better than the rest of the world
CUG
CONNECTION: What's your most favorite hobby of all time?
HARLEY: I have two absolute fave hobbies. My 1st is photography, I bring a camera almost anywhere. It's amazing what you can catch on film. And my 2nd is reading. I ABSOLUTELY love to read. I carry books around with me, and I'd rather do that than most other things. In my opinion a book is the best place to loose yourself and nothing in the world beats sitting at home on a cold, rainy day with a cup of cocoa and a nice book to keep me company..
CUG
CONNECTION: Do you work? If so, what do you do?
HARLEY: At the moment I'm a part-time salesgirl for a children's clothing store. But I really want to do something with photography. Which is why I'm a part-time student.
CUG
CONNECTION: What's the best thing about your life right now?
HARLEY: My friends, they've been helping me through a lot of tough times and I thank them for that so very much.
CUG
CONNECTION: Who's your favorite musical artist
HARLEY: There's definitely way too many and my music varies so much, but some of my faves are Nirvana, Ozzy, Good Charlotte, Less Than Jake and the list expands far and wide.
CUG
CONNECTION: What's your favorite childhood memory?
HARLEY: My favorite memory has to be these random days I used to spend with my mom and my brother. My mom calls them "family fun days" we used to just hang out the three of us and get ice cream or a movie. It was something special back then.
CUG
CONNECTION: What are your plans for the future?
HARLEY: I wanna be in the photography field, possibly own my own studio, I want to get married eventually and have children. And basically I just want to be happy.
CUG
CONNECTION: When you were eight years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
HARLEY: I wanted to be a veterinarian. It was my dream job in life.
CUG
CONNECTION: What would you do if you found one hundred dollars on the ground?
HARLEY: Honestly I'd probably keep it, well no I'd spend it. Most likely on either photography stuff or clothes. lol.
