Photographers: Photos submitted to our site that are shot by freelance or professional photographers are assumed to be shot upon a shared copyrights or TFCD agreement between the model, the photographer, and this website. We have no restrictions on photographers and models using the pictures submitted to this website for their own personal portfolo. If ever we are to use any pictures for merchandise or other profit-gaining reasons we would always notify the model & photographer so that we may arrange some sort of compensation if the merchandise is purchased. We want to offer exposure to models & photographers by giving appropriate photographer credit in the model's "set view" area, but in order for this to be arranged, all models must contact me PRIOR to sending in her set, (if shooting with a professional photographer) so that the proper arrangements can be discussed. It is the model's responsibilty to let her photographer know what these photos are specifically being shot for. We will accept Photographer logos on pictures if the logo is no bigger than the Coverup Girls logo as not to distract or take away from the Photo itself. If requested, we can add a Photographer copyright text on the picture in place of your logo, but this must we discussed with Cynthia beforehand. Also, we discourage any unnecessary cropping of pictures, resizing is fine, but if there must be cropping please be sure they are in relation to 450pixels X 650-75pixels. This websitesite brings no profits to the site owners, and because of that we are not able to monetarily compensate any photographers. However, we do offer great exposure and a Photographer's section on the site. If at anytime a photographer demands compensation for his/her photos being viewable on this site and does not agree on a TFCD basis, those photos will have to be immediately be taken down from the site and the model will be notified. Read question #37 on the
FAQ for more info.
a.) All photos submitted to CUGs taken by the girls themselves, (otherwise known as self-shot sets) in Photosets become Property of The Coverup Girls and can be used for banners & merchandise. Photos can be used for your personal use (portfolio, myspace, personal website) but we ask that you keep the logo on! If you would like your set to be sent back to you, please request the tagged set from Cynthia.
b.) Failure to send a scheduled Photoset for a consecutive 2 months or more will result in IMMEDIATE removal from the site & group. New applicants who do not send their set within 2 weeks of her acceptance letter will be immediately disqualified.
c.) We are NOT a model-exclusive website, The Coverup Girls encourages that you model elsewhere, just not with the same pictures that you send The Coverup Girls. Please make sure any sets you send us have NOT been used anywhere else. You may leave Coverup Girls at any time. If you decide to withdraw from the group, or if you are dropped your info will be taken down from the site -- but any sets or pictures you have turned in while still under our group may still remain live on the site and possibly still used for banners & graphics in the future. This also means any banners or graphics you were featured in while in our group will continue to be in use. (we do not sell our sets to any other companies or websites).
d.) Your photoset must consit of 10-14 pictures. You may send more pictures in a set, but please note that we will only use your best 14. If any photoset of yours does not meet the standards or do not meet the requirements, we will ask for a set re-do.
e.) You must be aware that your full sets will be released and put up live on the site.
f.) All contest entries cannot be displayed anywhere else until the contest is over, unless stated otherwise by the editor (Cynthia)
g.) Coverup Girls would prefer that you send in Photosets that were shot specifically for this purpose, and not sets that have been used for other modeling groups or sites. This is because we want to give our viewers the most original and unique pictures to enjoy.
h.) Sets must be uniform, consistent in setting/place/theme, and your costume/wardrobe of choice be limited to one outfit per Photoset.
i.) We do not require in ANY way that your pictures be taken by a professional photographer.
j.) There is no monetary pay for being a Coverup Girl, not until sufficient amount of profits are being made, it is unknown how long this may take. We are a privately-owned organization, our first priority of any money we make goes right back into the CUG funds (such as for the site, merchandise, etc.)
